Print Production

Commercial Printing Services

From a single business card to a full offset run with raised spot UV and custom-cut packaging — we handle design, prepress, press, embellishment, and finishing under one roof.

Four ways we put ink on paper

Every job is different. A 250-piece business card order and a 20,000-piece brochure run need completely different equipment to make sense financially. Below is a plain-English guide to what we run, what each process is good at, and when we would recommend it.

EmbellishmentSpot UV

JetVarnish 3D

Digital spot UV varnish applied in raised layers up to 116 microns, with optional cold foil in any colour. No screens, no dies, no plates — so short runs and variable-data embellishment are actually affordable.

Offset Printing

Custom Cutting

Digital cutting tables cut, crease, kiss-cut, and V-groove without a steel rule die. Pocket folders, rigid boxes, shelf displays, and prototypes — one-offs cost the same per piece as hundreds.

How a print job moves through our shop

  1. Quote & stock selection — we confirm quantity, flat and folded size, paper weight, and finishing before anything is scheduled.
  2. Prepress & preflight — files are checked for bleed, resolution, fonts, overprint, and colour space. We flag problems before they cost you a reprint.
  3. Proofing — a PDF soft proof for layout, or a printed hard copy proof when colour accuracy is critical.
  4. Press — digital or offset, depending on what the quantity justifies.
  5. Embellishment — JetVarnish 3D spot UV and cold foil, if specified.
  6. Cutting & finishing — digital cutting, folding, scoring, gluing, laminating, and binding.
  7. Quality check & delivery — counted, boxed, and shipped or ready for pickup.

File setup basics

Getting these right the first time removes days from your schedule:

No print-ready file yet? We design too. Business cards, brochures, folders, and packaging can be designed and printed as a single project — see the work we have shipped.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order?

On digital there is no practical minimum — we will print one piece if that is what you need. Offset becomes economical from roughly 1,000 pieces up. Custom cutting also has no minimum, since there is no die to pay for.

How long does a typical job take?

Digital business cards can be ready the same or next business day. Add 1–2 days for JetVarnish 3D embellishment, 2–3 days for custom cutting and gluing, and allow 5–10 business days for a full offset run with finishing.

Can you match a colour from a previous print run?

Yes. Send us a physical sample. If it was printed as a Pantone spot colour on offset we can match it precisely. If it was CMYK, we will get as close as the process allows and show you a proof first.

Do you print on recycled stock?

Yes — FSC-certified and post-consumer recycled papers are available for both digital and offset. Note that recycled stocks are slightly more absorbent, so colours read a little softer than on coated sheets.

Can you ship outside Canada?

Yes, we ship internationally. Shipping is quoted separately once we know the final weight and box count.

Ready to get it printed?

Tell us the quantity, size, stock, and finishing you have in mind. We will come back with a quote and flag anything in your file that might cause a problem on press.
